Ryan went through Army ROTC at Carson-Newman and was commissioned as a second lieutenant on graduation. He spent four years on active duty and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a transportation officer, where his unit hauled tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles and Marine Amphibious Assault Vehicles across the battlefield.
He grew up around a small business his father has run since 1974, and he has since worked in sales and management for several Fortune 100 companies. Moving heavy things on a deadline, safely, is the job he has always had.

A Typical Day
- Make 150 to 185 deliveries to homes and businesses
- Climb in and out of the van and take stairs as needed

What You Will Need
- To be 21 years of age or older
- A valid driver’s license in South Carolina or North Carolina
- To pass a drug screen
- To pass a seven-year background check, including driving history
- Enough English to read road signs and speak with regulatory personnel, to meet the US DOT standard
- To walk 6-8 miles a day and move boxes up to 50 pounds
- To be comfortable operating and navigating a 10,000 pound van

DO I NEED A CDL?
No. A valid driver’s license in South Carolina or North Carolina is what the job requires.
WHAT DOES IT PAY?
Starting pay is $21.25/hour, with opportunities for bonuses and incentives on top of that.
HOW MANY DAYS A WEEK WOULD I WORK?
Four. Shifts run up to 10 hours, and we will work with you on a schedule that keeps the rest of your life intact.
DO I NEED DELIVERY EXPERIENCE?
No. The application asks whether you have driven a large delivery van, and "no, but willing to learn" keeps you in the process.

It is a physical job. On a typical day you will walk 6-8 miles, move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds and make 150 to 185 deliveries.
